What We Collect

Local Storage Only:

  • Your search history (stored in your browser only)
  • Generated lyrics (stored in your browser only)
  • Preferences and favorites (stored in your browser only)
  • No server-side storage of your creative work

AI Usage

When you use AI features (lyric generation, title generation), we send the following to our AI provider (OpenAI via Vercel AI Gateway):

  • Your prompt (e.g., "love song about summer")
  • Selected genre and mood
  • No personal information or identifying data

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics (Ahrefs Web Analytics) to understand how people use RhymeCraft. This helps us improve the tool but does not track individual users or their creative work.

No Accounts Required

RhymeCraft works without accounts, logins, or user profiles. You can use all features immediately without providing any personal information.

Your Rights

  • All data is stored locally in your browser
  • You can clear your data anytime using browser settings
  • No data is shared with third parties (except AI prompts to OpenAI via Vercel)
  • Your lyrics and creative work never leave your device
